[...] MySpace becomes Murdoch’s MyProblem. “Rupert Murdoch was hailed as a visionary when he paid the then-bargain price of $580 million for MySpace in 2005, but now it appears that the newspaper mogul may not know that much about running an Internet community after all.” Earlier this week, MySpace laid off some 400 employees — more than 13 percent of its work force — and forecasters expect a 15 percent drop in ad revenue for the company this year.
Actually, the photo Paul posted is not even Katharine's best photo. If you google her on images, you'll find a lot of nice photos. My comment was just a basic compliment. What's wrong saying someone is "beautiful?" It's not like I said many other lines people use on attractive females.

I think Katharine looks a lot like the actress Janet Gunn, from "Silk Stalkings" fame. But if we're casting for the movie, Kate Winslet would work.

I was almost going to chide Newspaper Fan for such a crass remark, commenting on Weymouth's beauty as if newspaper women can't possibly be smart and pretty too. Then I remembered, the reason I chose journalism (aside from the fact it was an easy A) is that the women are so darn ugly (they look usually like tomboys, with dark circles, no makeup, fat, etc). So I'm no better than Newspaper Fan and you're right, wow she's pretty! what a shock!
p.s.....and actress "who" would play a newspaper publisher, not "that"!

The Washington Post will always be relevant, maybe more so than the New York Times.

I also had no idea Katharine Weymouth was such a beautiful woman. She almsot looks like an actreess that would play a newspaper publisher.
